Majority of school districts to lose aid

How do they decide who loses aid?

One Response to “Majority of school districts to lose aid”

  1. This year there was 50 dollars per kid increase in state aid written into Act 10 and another 50 dollars per kid set aside for districts that taxed to the full authority of the law. That describes why Evansville is getting $180K increase in state funding. Loss of funding comes from reduced enrollment and, in some cases, combined use of fund balance instead of maximum taxing authority. Sorry it took me so long to answer your question. I’ve been pretty busy with the articles about Agenda 2017 and swim team transportation.
